I just noticed that if I have message logging turned on, some message are logged 50 times per second (bombing, phase recharge,???). Can this be reduced to say 1 or 2 per second, or is there some reason for keeping it at 50?

When you say message logging are you referring to capturing messages to an actual log file or the messages that are showing on your screen while playing the game?

I mean capturing to a log file, using the -L option.

I was actually looking for a way to log messages from players only, but when I saw this it just seemed excessive. Unless perhaps this aids as a debugging tool?

Issue investigated.  Logging records all warning messages, which can be quite spammy, especially since you can generate over 50 phaser attempts/second by moving the mouse continuously while holding down the phaser key.  Added item to the todo list for the client, to provide a verbosity level to logging so you can filter out these warning messages.  Thanks for finding this issue.
